Bulk printing covers two jobs: reprinting past orders, and clearing a backlog. Day-to-day incoming orders should not be handled this way — that is what automatic printing is for.
Steps
- On the Orders page, filter by date and status to isolate the target orders;
- Tick the orders you need (selecting all of the current filter result is supported);
- Click Batch Print — the jobs queue locally and print one after another.
You can keep using the app while the queue runs; there is no need to sit there clicking each order.
Details worth knowing
- Filter before selecting. Ticking everything easily reprints orders that already went out — filter by status first to exclude shipped ones;
- The template decides the sheet count. Whatever "SKU Merge" is set to determines sheets per order: selecting 50 orders might produce 80 sheets. Estimate consumables by the template, not by the order count;
- Failures are not lost. The queue retries failed jobs — after clearing a paper jam, use one-click reprint instead of re-pulling orders from the platform.
How it differs from automatic printing
Batch printing is manual: you pick, it prints. Automatic printing needs no one — orders print as they arrive. The two can run together: automatic for daily flow, batch for reprints and backlogs.
